The air gripper uses a cylinder driver to complete the task. You
can determine the thrust and pull on the piston rod according to
the force required for the work. Two independent pistons on the
left and right are installed in the air claw cylinder, and each
piston is connected with an external air claw, so the movement of
each piston represents the movement of a single air claw.
Therefore, when selecting the cylinder, the output force of the
cylinder should be slightly marginal. If the cylinder diameter is
selected small, the output force is not enough, and the cylinder
cannot work normally; but the cylinder diameter is too large, not
only makes the equipment bulky and high cost, but also increases
the gas consumption, resulting in energy waste. When designing the
fixture, the force booster should be used as much as possible to
reduce the size of the cylinder, so as to achieve the best use
effect of the air claw.
